EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

C. Lloyd Mahaffey, a seasoned former Chief Executive Officer, technology market sector executive, Sarbanes-Oxley qualified board director, pilot, sailor, fly fisherman, inventor, fundraiser and author, has successfully completed more than $1.2 billion USD in public market and more than $430M USD in venture-backed private equity transactions.

 

His career includes a Managing Partner role with Redleaf Ventures, a $300M Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, whose major investments included RedSiren and Lightningcast. Prior to joining Redleaf, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at VeriFone; the global payment company,where he was responsible for its digital payment, Internet initiatives, and strategic investments in CyberCash, WebTV, and VeriSign. He also led the team that negotiated VeriFone’s $1.2 billion acquisition by Hewlett Packard.

 

Mr. Mahaffey honed his product development, marketing and business development acumen as a key executive during the formative years of Apple Computer. While at Apple, he participated in the launch of the Macintosh, was responsible for the development of Apple’s highly regarded US Education Group and Federal Systems Group business segments worldwide. During his tenure, he grew the company’s Education business unit from $300 million to $1.3 billion.

 

A member of the prestigious St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, Mr. Mahaffey received a B.A. with Honors from The Citadel and attended Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business Technology Executive Program.

Liz is one of our nation's leading strategic and innovative financial thinkers with decades of experience in a wide variety of technology and business financial leadership roles including, but not limited to, Strategic and Financial Planning, Corporate Governance, SEC Reporting, M&A, Joint Ventures, Public/Private Debt and Equity Financing, Legal/Contracts/Intellectual Property, Treasury/Cash/Risk Management, Stock Administration, Investor and Banking Relations, HR Management, and International Operations and Expansion. Liz's management and operational strengths bring wide-ranging expertise to Windancer and our clients. Liz leads the Windancer Financial Services unit with a portfolio of robust financial strategies and tools available for our Healthcare clients.

 

Liz leverages a unique mix of strategy, finance, and business operations expertise to identify and capture opportunities that propel a company’s business growth and transformation within complex, changing markets. With competitive spirit and executional drive, Liz meets complex challenges with thoughtful analysis and business-centric action. Prior to joining Windancer as our CEO, Seetharaman "Seetha" Ganesan spent 12 years as founder and CIO of Anju Technology, Inc, developer of a market leading digital transformation, business automation workflow platform for direct IT and reseller customers.

 

Seetha is a broadly recognized innovative Technology Architect with over 20 years of experience in business application architecture, design and development with a proven record for achieving results.  He has stewarded the development of corporate technology strategies and product road maps, delivered application, and product solutions to market, and provided technological leadership to business teams.  Managed application development teams and deployment initiatives with both internal and external customers.  Strong knowledge of software development process and methodology.

 

Seetha was most recently CEO of Maruthi Technology, an IT develop consulting company integrating streamlined on-shore/off-shore development resources to bring Microsoft, LAMP and Node JS stacks to market. Seetha also managed the solution architecture for Blue Shield of California, Siemens Medical Group, Delta Dental of California, Visa USA, and Ventaso, Inc.  He also served as Head of Engineering for Finexio, Inc. and lead architect and data warehouse scientist for DataVision and Intelli-Services, Inc.

 

CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Stephen G. Batuello, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.S. is a leading head and neck surgeon, Medical Director and Board Chairman for Healthcare Systems, Medical Groups, Population Health, and Personalized Medicine. Dr. Batuello brings over two decades of surgical,  executive management and leadership experience to the Windancer team.

 

He is a results oriented, consumer-focused clinician executive and innovator with unique experience spanning ambulatory, acute care and integrated delivery settings. Dr. Batuello is extremely adept at physician, associate and governing board engagement in dynamic and uncertain environments and identifies and solves for opportunities toward value-based delivery models.

 

PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

 

Currently, Dr. Batuello also serves as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director, Precision Medicine Alliance, LLC, the Senior most physician executive for the Precision Medicine Alliance, a wholly owned subsidiary of CommonSpirit Health, with a footprint spanning 21 states, 700 care sites and 142 hospitals within CommonSpirit Health, the biggest non-profit health care system in the United States with revenues of $29 billion.

  • Responsible for all scientific and clinical aspects of precision medicine/genomics content expertise, business development of new programs and oversight for existing programs
  • Responsible for design, launch and quality of precision medicine programs in oncology, cardiovascular disease, population health, pharmacogenomics, neonatal exome testing and rare diseases.
  • Designed, built and launched a systemwide virtual molecular tumor board, physician education programs and physician advisory panels and managed oversight for clinical features of oncology IT data management and analytics platform.

 

Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing

Tasked with conducting an inventory of technological and non-technological tools used by regional management entities participating in the Colorado Accountable Care Collaborative of the state Medicaid program (Health First Colorado). Tools were categorized and assessed for efficacy in order to inform and operationalize a state-wide cost collaborative forum to lower costs and improve outcomes.

• Research Enterprise – Medical director in dyad with research director working with legal and compliance executives to determine structure, scope and objectives for Front Range Region Research Enterprise. Formed research oversight committee to write protocols, policies and manage in-house clinical trials approved by three separate institutional review boards.

• Engagement – Designed and built a pain management program helping to improve hospital wide HCAHPS scores from the 71st to the 79th percentile in less than one year. Helped structure service lines for neurosciences, and cardiac care delivery program.

He also led the team that negotiated VeriFone’s $1.2 billion acquisition by Hewlett Packard.
